In light of the COVID-19 outbreak spreading to Nebraska and Iowa, Heartland Family Service is monitoring this developing situation and taking steps to protect our agency and the people we serve in case of a larger outbreak in the Metro area.
Our priority is to ensure the safety of our employees, volunteers, clients, and community partners while making sure we are able to continue to offer our much needed services, even during the worst stages of this pandemic. The situation is changing quickly and we will be sure to provide updates as we move forward. As with any contagious illness, we are working closely with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as state and local health departments, and are following their guidelines and recommendations.
