Our Counselors

Our counselors can address the general issues that cause stress and trauma for today’s individuals, children and families related to: parent/child issues, relationship problems, divorce and remarriage, domestic abuse, compulsive gambling, substance abuse, depression, anxiety and general stress. The number of sessions spent with a counselor is often as few as one to three visits, and the average length of counseling is three months.

If you think you may benefit from professional counseling, please contact Heartland Family Service at (402) 552-7400 or at info@HeartlandFamilyService.org. The counselors at Heartland Family Service will strive to respond to your questions by the next business day — Monday through Friday.

If you have concerns with: depression, alcohol use, bipolar disorder, general anxiety disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder or adolescent depression, please take one of our free, anonymous online Mental Health Screenings. We also offer a free, anonymous self-assessment questionnaire on substance abuse.
