Heartland Housing Beginnings

Provides long-term financial assistance and supportive services for individuals and families who are experiencing long-term homelessness with one or more disabilities, such as mental health, substance abuse, or a physical disability. Referrals are accepted through the community’s coordinated entry system.

Eligibility: Individuals must be ages 18-24 who are literally homeless, have a disability, and are former wards of the state. They must live in Douglas and Sarpy counties in Nebraska.
