Studies have shown that mediation creates a more alert and settled mind. The Wellness Works Challenge of the Month for March is: Meditate for 8! Be mindful this March and set an alarm on your phone or calendar to meditate for 8 minutes EVERY Day.

 

You can use your favorite techniques or download a meditation app. Calm and Insight Timer are both great apps to try!  Please share a photo or video on Facebook and like or comment when you have successfully completed the challenge.

Wellness Works, one of Heartland Family Service’s employee resource groups, is excited to continue the 2017 Challenge of the Month series! Each month, a new challenge will be offered to staff and friends of Heartland Family Service. It is the group’s hope to inspire a stronger, wiser, and calmer you through different activities and practices.
