The DAP provides assistance to women who decide to leave their violent homes and are in need of life’s basic necessities. Heartland Family Service offers emergency service for these victims and their children, providing shelter, clothing, meals, financial assistance, transportation, medical assistance and counseling, all provided free of charge. Volunteers are needed to provide childcare during group sessions and to assist with fundraisers throughout the year.

If you have any questions or want to get more information on how you can help with the Domestic Abuse Program at Heartland Family Service, contact Laura Zachary at (402) 552-7418 or lzachary@heartlandfamilyservice.org.
