The third annual Strike a Chord Event was held Friday, August 24, at Harrah’s Convention Center. This light hearted event started with the piano stylings of Deb Jennings and featured the hilarious dueling pianos of the Las Vegas Dueling Piano Show, which involved the audience in the fun! Proceeds from the fundraiser go directly to help children and families in Southwest Iowa. Guests sampled fine foods and spirits from around the world and purchased original works of art from our Celebrity Artists: Doug Goodman, Matt Gronstal, Josh Guttau, Mike Kenealy and Gilbert Thomas. Matt and Lisa Gronstal served as host couple.

The 2007 Strike A Chord event was hosted by the Heartland Family Service Southwest Iowa Advisory Committee, including Don Andersen, Pat Andersen, Marcia Antworth, Scott Belt, Suzi Brehmer, Paulette Cramer, Alice Edwards, Lisa Gronstal, Melissa Hardersen, Cindy Hoover, Rick Killion and Kelley Kulesa.
