This year, for “Carnival of Love,” we are highlighted the beauty and diversity of Asian cultures. Each year, hundreds of refugee families find the support they need to build self-sufficiency through a variety of programs Heartland Family Service offers. Our Ready in 5 program – prepares young children and their parents get ready to go off to school for the first time. Since its inception, 87 percent of clients this program has served are of Asian descent. This includes Karen, Bhutanese, Nepali, and Burmese, among others.
The Heartland Family Service “Carnival of Love” Gala helps more than 52,000 children and families in our community through our critical life-affirming services. Your support makes all the difference in the lives of vulnerable families in our community!
